- As a society we need to re-evaluate the way we deal with death and dying
- Difficult as it may be, this is an issue that we must face as it affects us all
- The most important person in the dying process is the dying person themselves
- That whenever reasonable, their choices should be respected
- Respecting informed choice, rather than forcing decisions underground, does more to protect people than turning a blind eye to their wishes
To help bring this about, we have set up a new home for this blog at:
www.campaignfordignityindying.org
Campaignfordignityindying.org is an interactive campaign website, created to help those who support a change the law on assisted dying to campaign with us. It provides the necessary facts and figures to argue the case for assisted dying, as well as tools to assist members and supporters to write to their MP’s, write to their local papers, spread the word on assisted dying and contribute to the blog.
This blog will remain open to anyone who wishes to trail through its archives.
I hope you will join us at the new site, and thank you for reading...
